Vighnaharta Award 2025 – Online International Closing: Be Someone’s Vighnaharta

Indore, 7 September 2025: While Ganesh Visarjan echoed across many cities, an inspiring gathering came together online for the Vighnaharta Award 2025 international closing ceremony. Moreover, the event underlined a simple message—service with compassion. In addition, participants joined live from India and abroad.

Opened with the National Anthem

Additionally, the ceremony opened with the National Anthem. Next, a short presentation introduced the Vighnaharta awardees and the theme for the evening.

Krishna Guruji’s Message: The Human Meaning of Ganesh Aarti

Therefore, Krishna Guruji explained how the lines from Ganesh Aarti—“Andhan ko aankh det, kodan ko kaya, baazhan ko putra det, nirdhan ko maya”—call us to act: be someone’s eyes, offer strength, support lives like a son, and be a source of care for those in need. As a result, the Vighnaharta Award honours people who embody this spirit of human service.

Moments that Moved Everyone

Meanwhile, heartfelt words set the tone:

• For example, Anil Ranka (109 blood donations): “I am grateful that service receives recognition.”
• Similarly, Dr. Shweta Walia urged everyone to pledge eye donation: “Eye donation is a profound service.”
• Likewise, the wife of Late Surendra Porwal shared: “Body donation was a tough decision, yet today we feel proud.”
• For instance, para-athlete Pooja Garg said: “This award gives me new energy.”
• Furthermore, journalist Kamlesh Sen reflected: “In 36 years of journalism, this honour feels truly special.”
• Consequently, Jitendra Suman (mental health service): “Seventeen years of service finally found true recognition.”
