he 10th Annual Surya Sawari Rally was celebrated with profound devotion and spiritual grandeur on 14 January 2026, marking the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti 2026 (मकर संक्रांति 2026) and the deeply symbolic Pita–Putra Diwas (पिता पुत्र दिवस).
This sacred event represents a rare and meaningful astrological transition when Surya Dev (Sun God) enters Makara Rashi (Capricorn)—the zodiac sign ruled by Shani Dev, traditionally regarded as his son. Despite being considered adversaries in astrology, this celestial alignment symbolizes reconciliation, balance, renewal, and respect in father–son relationships, a message central to Krishnaguruji’s spiritual vision.

The spiritual journey began at Pitreshwar Hanuman Mandir, Indore, under the guidance of Krishnaguruji. In a deeply moving tribute, Guruji hoisted the Bhagwa Flag and planted saplings in the names of departed ancestors, offering heartfelt Shraddhanjali.
Explaining the spiritual importance of Makar Sankranti on Ekadashi, Krishnaguruji stated that this rare combination signifies moksha (liberation). The atmosphere resonated with the sacred sounds of shankh, damru, and dhol–tasha, transforming the surroundings into a divine celebration of Pita–Putra Diwas.

Rituals, Mantras, and the Spiritual Message of Unity

The procession culminated at Triveni Sangam, where special Archana was performed along with the chanting of Aditya Hridayam Stotram and resounding calls of “Jai Surya Dev.” The idol of Surya Dev was then installed in the Shani sanctum under Makara Rashi, marking the Sun’s auspicious transition on Makar Sankranti 2026.
The event concluded with collective chanting of Shani–Surya Mantras, reinforcing the timeless message of respect, reconciliation, and unity in relationships, especially between fathers and sons.
