Visit in person all your relatives, family & friends, if long distance call and wish them; do not let any of your hostilities linger, festivities are for forgiveness and continue fresh. Visit your subordinates, domestic help, servants, give them fresh sweets and clothes (and not the ones you want to discard)

For Lakshmi Pooja – Offer homemade sweets and snacks (even if small quantity that is fine)

10. After Lakshmi Pooja

  • ЁЯке Replace your toothbrushes (or mentally imagine replacing if on a quarterly cycle)

    • Symbolizes renewal and health consciousness

    • Visit your parents, if long distance call them and offer your pranams,
      • If they are deceased, recall the time you spent with them and whole heartedly offer your pranams.

12. Replace your household broom

  • New broom = Sweeping in new prosperity, sweeping out old energies

  • Whatever items you used in Lakshmi Pooja use them (and don’t keep them just for display)
