Vignaharta Awards 2025: Turning Faith Into Action
Vignaharta Awards 2025 were presented jointly by the Awakening Humanity Foundation (USA) and the Krishna Guruji Welfare Society (India). The celebration honored unsung heroes—called Vighna Harta or “troubleshooters of society”—who uplift, empower, and heal at the grassroots level.
Inspired by Ganesh Chaturthi, the initiative blends spirituality with service. It follows the spirit of the Ganesh Aarti lines sung across North India:
“अँधे को आँख देत, कोढ़िन को काया।
बाँझन को पुत्र देत, निर्धन को माया॥”
These verses symbolize relief from suffering. Krishna Guruji extends their meaning to real people who embody compassion through action.
Vision Behind the Awards
The awards were conceived by Shri Krishna Mishra, fondly known as Krishna Guruji (Indore, Madhya Pradesh). He has transformed religious festivities into platforms for societal connection and service. The focus is simple: recognize individuals who quietly remove obstacles in others’ lives.

How the Honouring Happened
Guruji personally visited each awardee at their workplace or home. He presented a Tri-color scarf (Tiranga) and a trophy. This direct approach kept the ceremony humble, sincere, and people-centric.
