gratitude to Krishna Guruji 🙏🏻 for the deeply moving Pitra Meditation that helped us connect with our ancestors. We could remember them with gratitude and seek their blessings as well.
The meditation beautifully took us through the complete cycle of life. Additionally, it reminded us that just as we seek blessings from our ancestors, we too should remain in a state of blessing. This applies to our children, grandchildren, and future generations as well.
I was deeply emotional and moved to tears when Guruji shared his beautiful transformation of Pitru Tarpan in memory of his mother. Instead of limiting remembrance only to a traditional ritual, he showed us through his own example how gratitude can also be expressed by lovingly feeding family members. Furthermore, serving others in the memory of our departed loved ones is also a way to show gratitude.
This thought gave me a completely new perspective. It showed that remembrance of our ancestors can be expressed through gratitude, food, service, prayer, meditation, and blessings.
Thank you, Guruji, for setting such a compassionate example and showing us meaningful alternative ways to honour our deceased ancestors.
I am also grateful for Guruji’s assurance of daily sessions during Pitru Paksha. Through Pitra Meditation, we are learning to connect with our ancestors through our own breath, awareness, remembrance, and gratitude. Rather than feeling that a connection is possible only through a third person, we gain confidence. In this way, we make the connection ourselves.
This experience has made Pitru Paksha feel more personal, peaceful, and spiritually meaningful.
Heartfelt gratitude, Guruji, for guiding us towards a life of remembrance, gratitude, service, and blessings. 🙏🏻
