A disciple asked — “Guruji, how to stay content during adversity?”

Krishna Guruji replied with a story —

Gyanchand was sincere and committed.
Salary increased — same dedication.
Salary decreased — same dedication.
Decreased again — still the same spirit.

The owner asked — “Why don’t you care?”

Gyanchand said —

“When salary increased — my daughter was born — good fortune.
When decreased — my father passed away — fortune ended.
Decreased again — mother passed away — her share ended.

But I remained the same. My duty and satisfaction are in my hands.”

Guruji concluded —

“In Kaliyug, those who accept situations calmly stay peaceful.
Perform your karma, detach from results — that is the path to true contentment.”
